SHOCK U TURN,ROONEY IS BACK IN RED

Rooney made a shock u-turn on as he signed a new five-year contract with United after admitting that he wanted to leave Old Trafford because the club was showing a lack of ambition in the transfer market.
However, he won't be back in a United for a while as he is recovering after being stretchered out.

"I will be out for three weeks,I'm delighted to sign another deal at United," Rooney said,In the last couple of days, I've talked to the manager and the owners and they've convinced me this is where I belong."

Alex got "delighted" after Rooney had agreed to extend his contract.

"Sometimes, when you're in a club, it can be hard to realize just how big it is and it takes something like the events of the last few days to make you understand," Ferguson said. "I think Wayne now understands what a great club Manchester United is. "It's been a difficult week, but ... I said to the boy that the door is always open."
Rooney fans from Old Trafford gathered outside his place if he would have taken a step in to join United rival Manchester City.

Alex Ferguson, earlier said that he will put the controversial issue an end and Rooney will commit the biggest mistake of his professional life if chooses to move from Old Trafford.Rooney eventually agreed on 1,80,000 pounds a week contract with the management, making him the best paid player in the history of the club. But now in his new contract he will be paid 2,50,000 pounds per week.

Rooney soon be back to his best.I certainly can't wait to see him pull on the red shirt again.

ONCE A RED, ALWAYS A RED
