England manager Fabio Capello,no longer sees the world renowned mid fielder as a part of england football team.for Fabio it is the time to give a chance to the younger soccer players who should be put in to the shoes of Beckham. He thinks Beckham is too old a player to be kept in a team.
Capello in 2007 dumped the footballer from the Real Madrid squad.
Beckham had himself often said that he had no intentions of giving up his England jersey yet.
Beckham said,"I've always said I won't retire from playing for my country, whether I never get picked again, play one more game or 10 more."
In fact, some sources have revealed that the top officials of england football even suggested that Beckham should replace Capello.
So, is there any sort of insecurity for Capello who is deciding to ‘retire’ Beckham?. I think he feels insecure by the most popular footballer that England has produced? Or is it just that Capello wants to show who the boss is?
However, an English football team without Beckham is like an Indian cricket team without Sachin Tendulkar. He still feeds those stunning passes that make the Beautiful Game so much more watchable. He still makes headlines even if he is not on the field.
There is no doubt that Beckham is a little old and the time has come to start looking for someone who can fit into his shoes. However,it is not the right time for England’s Football Association to let go its golden player as beckham is still capable of turning the game around.
A nation of football-crazy fans might not be ready for life without Beckham. Rather, football-crazy fans of the world might be ready for showing exit gates to Fabio.
